Thallus
bright green to brownish green in colour, grow up to 3 cm tall forming
thick fleshy crust attached to sandy-rocky substrate by rhizoids,
composed of many vesicular segments laterally and compactly adjoined
to each other by hapteroid cells; the clavate vesicle (segment) are
slightly constricted at the bases and are arranged in layers with
two or five daughter vesicles arising from a parent vesicle; vesicles
are
filled with fluid when fresh and 4 - 6.3 mm long, 1 - 1.6 mm in diameter.
